What type of shoots do you do?
I photograph weddings, engagements, seniors, families/couples, and portraits!
The only "events" I photograph are WEDDINGS :)
What areas do you cover?
I cover mainly the Houston area.
Although I shoot in Houston, I SOMETIMES consider sessions in surrounding areas. For sessions not located in Houston, contact me and let me know where. Keep in mind that fees and price increases will be present.
How much do you charge?
Prices vary on the time, amount of photos, amount of people, and amount of locations. My skills and high-quality gear also are part of my pricing. Prices start at $150 and go up to $500. I always like to lean towards affordable pricing, allowing photoshoots to be accessible to most people.
As for weddings, prices start at $1,000. The price all depends on the duration, location, add-ons, etc.
How do I book you/how is the booking process?
You can start out my reaching out to me by either filling out my contact form, or DM-ing me telling me you're interested in booking. I will then send you a questionnaire for you to fill in, helping understand your interests. Then we can discuss the date and location. To secure your spot, a non-refundable deposit is required.
And then you're BOOKED :)
I think I have to cancel my session, what do I do?
All sessions require a non-refundable deposit upon booking, so even if you cancel, I cannot refund it. ONLY with a 48 hour notice, it may be used as credit for a future session.
No-shows will not receive a refund and the deposit will act as a cancellation fee.
As for weddings, the cancellation policy will be stated in the contract sent. Still, deposits are non-refundable.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Of course! However keep in mind that there will be a fee added on in order to receive the images. Reguar Sessions: $75/half-hr | Weddings: $275/hr
How will I receive my photos?
Your photos will be delivered online through a link/email for you to download them straight to your device!
How long does it take to receive my photos?
In a session I take about 100+ photos but I have to reduce them to the amount of photos you selected on the package. I then edit and touch up these pictures. Many of these "minor" touch-ups are what create such clean and detailed photos, which comes with a lot of time and dedication.
Regular Sessions: 1-2 weeks. (It could be sooner, but it largely depends on my availability during that season)
Weddings: 4-8 weeks | Galleries for weddings have a lot of detail put into them and I want to make sure its just like you've envisioned it! Weddings days are longer, therefore there are more images to edit and choose from. However, I stand by always returning galleries in less than 3 months.
What kind of equipment do you use? Is it good quality?
I use a full-frame mirrorless camera and carry two lenses with me, both zoom lenses so that I can get multiple focal lengths. I also bring 2 prime lenses that allow photos in low-light conditions. I carry 2 flashes with me as well. This makes it all very high quality gear. All my gear works well in both bright and low-light situations, making it very versatile. The equipment I currently carry is expensive, so it plays a part in my pricing.
Do you offer any packages?
Yes! BUT I prefer figuring out a personal price for each client so that it's tailored to YOUR needs! This will save you a lot! Since usually packages include things that maybe you do or don't need.
However, if you still want to stick to a package, let me know and I'll send it to you!
Can I get RAW / unedited images?
A large reason why RAW / unedited photos aren't shared is because that would be giving you only half of an unfinished work of art. Editing plays as much of a part in the final image as taking it. Editing photographs in itself is an art. When booking me, you don't pay for the photos themselves, but you're investing into the art that comes with them. I spend a lot of time crafting every single image that is in your gallery, giving you the best photographs possible.
Under NO circumstance are RAW / unedited photos given.
when are your working hours?
I take sessions any day of the week depending on my availability! The most common days though, are Friday and Saturday. Starting at 12pm.
My "office hours" are Monday through Friday, from 11am-7pm. I will respond to emails + be editing during these times. If you sent a message outside of these times, it will be responded to in the following business day.
